The implementation of the requirements from Data protection is still keeping companies busy in many places. GDPR
As a piece of European legislation, the Data protection General Regulation has brought with it extensive accountability to data subjects and authorities. Swiss Federal Act on the Data protection (DSG)
Swiss companies are faced with the particular challenge of having to comply not only with their own data protection laws but also with the EU'sGDPR , partly due to Switzerland's geographical location at the heart of the EU. In addition, the Swiss Data Protection Act is currently beingrevised in line with GDPR .

EKD Data Protection Act (DSG-EKD)
The Church Law on the Data protection of the Protestant Church in Germany (DSG-EKD) is the legal basis applicable in the area of the Protestant Church. The requirements of the EU-GDPR are adapted to the special conditions of the Protestant Church and expanded and specified accordingly. The DSG-EKD can be viewed online here.

Law on the Church Data protection (KDG)
The law on church Data protection (KDG) regulates Data protection in church matters for the Roman Catholic Church in Germany. The requirements of the EU-GDPR are adapted to the special conditions of the Catholic Church and expanded and specified accordingly. The KDG can be viewed online here.
